At HCA middle school, we strive to help students think Biblically about every area of life. We promote rigorous, self-motivated academic study, but we want the students to come to know that all areas of study grow out of who God is and what He says in His word. Our passion is to see young people know God, love Him with all their hearts, and become the people that He wants them to be!

Middle School Bible, Science, Math, Band

Middle School at HCA brings transition, but the scaffolding provided allows students to navigate additional assignments, greater responsibilities and proper organizational skills to excel in a more academically rigorous environment.

Activities include middle school foreign language, physical education, research projects, science exploration, band, chorus and speech.

Excellence continues to be the HCA standard as students transition into this important and influential time of life. HCA desires to help students navigate this time with grace and determination to fulfill their responsibilities to God and those around them.

What Separates Hillsdale Christian Middle School

Chapel

Students have chapel once a week with various speakers from our staff and faculty. This time of singing, teaching and interaction around the Word of God gives another outlet for students to hear truths to help them learn and grow in the Lord.

Fine Arts Focused

Hillsdale Christian Academy offers various opportunities for growth beyond the academic classroom to expand the fine arts horizon of our students.

Goal Oriented

HCA exists for the total training of each student: mentally (academically), socially, physically, and most of all, spiritually. Each teacher works intensely and rigorously through the curriculum to prepare each student for today and for their future.

Core Curriculum

Hillsdale Christian Academy’s middle school provides a supportive yet challenging environment that helps students successfully navigate the transition to greater academic and personal responsibilities. With a focus on rigorous coursework and carefully chosen curricula, we equip students with essential organizational skills and a strong foundation for high school and beyond.

Core Subjects and Enrichment Opportunities

Our middle school program includes core subjects such as Bible, English/Language Arts, Mathematics (Intermediate and Pre-Algebra), History, and Science. To foster well-rounded growth, we also offer enriching programs in physical education, science labs, research projects, band, and chorus.
At HCA, learning extends beyond the classroom. We aspire to lay a solid spiritual foundation while inspiring students to be responsible, self-motivated, and passionate about lifelong learning.

Extracurricular Activities

Middle school students actively participate in our Annual Christmas and Spring Programs, showcasing the musical concepts they have mastered throughout the year. They also compete in the SSACS Fine Arts Competition each spring, with opportunities to excel in speech, music, and art.
