Mission and Values

The mission of Hillsdale Christian Academy is to assist the family and church by providing a Christ-centered education, equipping students with a Biblical worldview, and encouraging a relationship with Jesus Christ.

HCA seeks out rigorous, dynamic curriculum in all subject areas, giving each student a solid foundation to build on. Certified teachers challenge, inspire, and mentor each student.

Discover the difference Hillsdale Christian Academy can make in the life of your child when they are challenged to develop their talents and abilities in a Christian environment. HCA students are prepared spiritually and academically to excel through the life skills they are taught.

Hillsdale Christian Academy is dedicated to providing an education with academic excellence achieved through Christ-centered curriculum by purposing to prepare servant leaders whose lives reflect Christian principles, Biblical knowledge, and a desire to make a difference as productive citizens.

Our goal is to develop Christ-likeness in the life of every student.  There are four major areas in which Christ-likeness should be manifested:

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”

Luke 2:52

~ Spiritually – “favor with God”

Lead each child to a personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior

Enrich the child’s devotional life

Develop a well-balanced and Christ-like personality

Awaken a realization that God has a purpose and plan for each life

Develop from Scripture its ability to help and guide in all areas of life

Give knowledge, love and understanding of the Bible

~ Mentally – “wisdom”

Develop a mind-directed and not a feeling-oriented life

Develop a positive reaction to life

Discover and develop individual aptitudes

Cultivate analytical thinking and a priority-directed life

Impart a command of common knowledge and skills

~ Socially – “favor with man”

Instill a loyalty to Jesus Christ in all things and at all times

Develop an understanding of the child’s place and obligations in the family

Help the child share their Christian responsibility toward all men

~ Physically – “stature”

Develop a respect for the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit

Teach applicable care of the body

Encourage the yielding of the body as an instrument of righteousness for God’s use
