When you think of preschool, what do you see? Is it classrooms full of small children, spilled paint, and scribbled coloring sheets? Research shows that preschool may be more beneficial to your young child than what you might think.
The world has changed a lot since I was a kid back in the ’80s. My growing up years were spent either outdoors, my head buried in a book, or stretching the phone cord as far away from my parents as possible so I could have a private conversation. I even had to get off the couch to manually change the channel. We only got five channels that came in through our foil covered “bunny ears” and it required a true art form of precision to make the stations come in clearly.
Miss Bayes presented an excellent lesson today of Peter walking on the water in Lower School Chapel. He learned of true faith as the Lord taught him a very valuable lesson. Like Peter, who needed the Lord’s help as he sank beneath the waves, we too need the Lord’s help as we walk with Him each day. At Hillsdale, our teachers work hard to teach our students what it means to depend wholly upon the Lord. If we are honest, at times, our faith is weak. Yet God, in His great love, always meets us right where we are to meet our greatest need. Miss Bayes, thank you for a great lesson in chapel today.
